The Composite Wrapping System is specifically designed to repair defects on pipelines in service onshore or offshore as a provisional or permanent repair. Pipe composite can cure underwater or above water for:

Non through wall defects for long life repairs (Type A / ISO 24817)

Through wall defects for temporary defects (Type B / ISO 24817)
The Composite Wrapping System consists of a fiberglass substrate (fabric) designated by PROKEM. Impregnated with a high quality non-toxic proprietary solvent free epoxy that can cure underwater. It provides high anti corrosion protection as well as high mechanical reinforcement .
It is particularly suitable for dented or corroded pipelines as well as corroded risers, piping or caissons located in the splash zone or top sides of oil rigs. The Composite Wrapping System is highly suitable for installations in tropical countries with high humidity.
